About:  University Lutheran Church in Bloomington, IN invites you to join us February 9th & 10th for a weekend of solid worship, teaching, and fun!  This year's theme is "How to Talk About Christ to Just About Anybody" and our speaker is Brad Alles.

Cost: We kindly ask for $15 to help cover the costs of this event!  Registration fees can be paid by cash or check on Friday at check-in!

Guest Speaker Bio: B
rad Alles is an Assistant Professor of Education at Concordia University Wisconsin.  He graduated from Concordia University Nebraska with a Bachelor’s degree in education, and received his Master’s degree in Christian education from Concordia University Chicago. Known for his ability to breakdown Scripture so it’s easily understood and applied, adding humor along the way, he is a frequent Bible study teacher at Milwaukee area churches. In addition, he is a featured speaker at state and national youth gatherings, as well as youth worker, teacher, and pastor conferences.  His passion for God’s Word comes through clearly in his teaching style.  Mr. Alles is the author of several books including  Life's Big Questions, God's Big Answers and Starting at the End.

8:00 pm, Choir rehearsal (anyone is welcome to sing in the choir for the Hymn Festival)
9:00 pm, Session One: Worldviews
10:15 pm, Compline
10:30 pm, Fun in Bloomington! Catch the movie across the street at the Indiana
Memorial Union (IMU), explore Kirkwood Ave., play cards/games in the fellowship hall

SATURDAY, February 10th
8:00 am, Continental breakfast in the U.Lu fellowship hall
8:45 am, Morning Prayer in the church
9:30 am, Session Two: Post-Modernism (IMU Dogwood Room)
10:45 am, Break
11:00 am, Session Three: God’s Existence (IMU Dogwood Room)
12:15 am, Lunch on Your Own
2:00 pm, Session Four: The Bible’s Reliability (IMU Dogwood Room)
3:30 pm, Hymn Sing & Closing at University Lutheran Church
4:30 pm, Farewell/Head to Mother Bear’s Pizza if you want to eat before leaving!
After Dinner: Hang out at U.Lu, explore more of IU campus and Bloomington nightlife
