Life Together

We enjoy Life Together by utilizing our location to foster community among the believers gathered here. Some things are scheduled, other times they're spontaneous. We use these activities to connect with our brothers and sisters in Christ! Here are a few examples:

Sunday Cereal Bar

Downstairs Fellowship Hall

Before the service attend Sunday Bible Class, and fill your hunger pangs with your favorite cereal, juice, coffee, or tea.

1st Sunday of the Month Brunch

Downstairs Fellowship Hall

On the first Sunday of the month we enjoy a delicious brunch immediately following the 10:30AM Divine Service.

Table Talk Student Fellowship Meal

Downstairs Fellowship Hall on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM

This meal starts off our regular Wednesday evening LCMS U programming. Meals are either home-cooked or pizza from a local favorite is offered - and it's FREE!

Pop-Up Events

Some examples of pop-up events include: football in Dunn Meadow, basketball games, movie night in the Student Center, or gatherings for the FELLAship (Men's Group) or Women's Bible Study. Pay attention to the GroupMe or Facebook pages for dates and times.

Trips & Events

In addition to the fun stuff listed above, these are a few of the annual events which you can expect to see on the church Calendar! Keep an eye on the Upcoming Events page to find sign-up sheets.

ULu Canoe Trip

Usually in Late September or Early October

This is a very easy, yet beautiful trip that meanders through the canyons of Turkey Run State Park. We pull off on a sand bar to enjoy lunch and skipping rocks, then continue our journey under three historic bridges. This trip usually costs $15 plus money for dinner.

Boot-Up Camp

The Beginning of Fall Semester

This is a great opportunity to make friends while "rebooting" our campus ministry for the year. Swimming, kickball, devotions, and eating are on the agenda, along with discovering ways to get invovled at ULu. It's a completely free event, great for new students!

LCMS U Winter Weekend

2nd Weekend in February

College students from all over Indiana and the surrounding states come to ULu for a retreat-like conference featuring presenters who are seminary professors, authors, or apologists. They provide a worldview that is distinctly Christian in perspective on issues we face today.

Meal-Packing Event

Usually in Early April

For over four years, ULu has supported the local community with an annual meal-packing event. Working with the non-profit Generosity Feeds, we package over 10,000 meals each year which are then distributed to children through backpack programs. Volunteers are always needed!
